1887 (Nov 14) Envelope from London to G. Butt at Berbice, franked with 1887 Jubilee 4d, addressed and signed by Sir Henry Ponsonby, Queen Victoria’s private secretary, with enclosed letter expressing thanks for the sending of a copy of the West Indian Quarterly containing an article on the Jubilee in Georgetown, the envelope with Privy Purse seal and written from Balmoral, carried to Buckingham Palace in Royal Bag and then despatched with London S.W. duplex, backstamped Georgetown, New Amsterdam and Reliance-Canje, arriving Dec. 3
